When talking about YK 11 side effects, there is one particular side effect that we should pay attention to and that’s testosterone suppression.
Before you start using a SARM, I strongly recommend learning about its side effects first so you would know what to expect in case something goes wrong. Knowing about the side effects of a compound that you plan to use means you’re informed, therefore, you’re prepared. That’s especially important when talking about powerful SARMs such as YK-11.
- So, if you plan to use YK 11, please learn as much as possible about it. That includes how to use it, its benefits (to understand if it’s suitable for your needs), as well as its side effects. In this article, we’re mostly going to pay attention to YK 11 side effects and more specifically, its suppression.
All of that is because, as I already mentioned multiple times throughout multiple of my blog articles here, YK11 is one of the most suppressive SARMs out there. If you’ve been following my posts, you know that suppressive compounds require a Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) plan as they will help you recover the natural testosterone production.
But here, in this YK 11 side effects post, I am going to share more information regarding the intensity of YK11 suppression, and how it feels, including more helpful information. Since you’ll definitely need a PCT plan, I’m also going to share how to use SERMs (do not confuse them with SARMs) for PCT in order to boost recovery.
In short, read below as you’re going to learn everything you need to know about YK11 suppression.
YK 11 Suppression Intensity
YK-11 is a powerful SARM that is likely to help you a lot. It has intense effects and therefore, the suppression level is usually moderate to heavy in nature. Due to its powerful effects, it is almost impossible to avoid the suppression, even if you attempt low doses.
Of course, people are all different, getting different effects from different compounds, including YK11. This means that some people will get harsher suppression simply because of how their bodies react. The dosage and cycle length, of course, will also play a significant role. But at least some suppression is inevitable.
YK11 is powerful enough that even 5 mg a day of it is likely to lead to a complete shutdown of testosterone. This is the reason why most people running this SARM will experience at least moderate, but very likely a heavy suppression from YK 11. That’s why you need to prepare a PCT plan (usually lasting four weeks) in order to recover from the suppression.
Among all YK 11 side effects, testosterone suppression seems to be the most intense and obvious one. The signs of experiencing it are going to be pretty obvious.
How Does YK 11 Suppression Feel Like
Considering that the suppression from this compound is so harsh, it is going to make you feel it “right in your face” because there are quite a lot of symptoms. The suppression from this SARM will start to occur somewhere after about six weeks of using it. Sometimes a bit sooner or later like week five or seven in your YK 11 cycle. For this reason, I do not recommend a cycle to ever be longer than 8 weeks. In fact, you may stop even sooner. At about week six.
Symptoms will slowly start to kick in and the longer you continue to use it, the more intense they get. And they can get really intense. If you notice any symptoms getting out of hand, please stop the use and get into the PCT with SERMs like Nolvadex and/or Clomid.
So, the suppression symptoms include mood swings, aggression, low mood, depression, tiredness, low motivation, erectile dysfunction, and loss of libido including, tiredness and weakness, and other symptoms. That’s how it feels like living with suppression and there’s nothing funny about it.
More to Say…
Moreover, a lot of people suggest that unlike the suppression from other SARMs such as LGD-4033 or RAD-140 which usually slowly kicks in and then slowly grows in intensity, YK 11 suppression hits you really hard and really fast. This means that you may not even understand how you suddenly feel depressed and lethargic one day.
But there’s no need to worry. A four week PCT plan is usually enough to help you fully recover back. In fact, it’s likely that the PCT will help you avoid those symptoms the moment you start the PCT. In order to understand how you’re doing, it’s best to have bloodwork before and after the cycle. It means you should be checking for free and total testosterone as well as SHBG, FSH, and LH. Checking for other stuff will never hurt either such as your cholesterol, liver enzymes, PSA especially if you’re over 40 years old, and others.
How To Deal With YK 11 Suppression?
As you can see, YK 11 suppression can be pretty harsh and the bad news is that you can’t stop this suppression from occurring. The good news is that you could deal with this suppression and the best thing you can do is to prepare a PCT plan with SERMs. This means that when you get to buy YK-11, you would better equip yourself with Nolvadex and/or Clomid which will help you balance out the testosterone levels.
I don’t really recommend SERMs unless they are absolutely necessary and in this case, they are actually absolutely necessary. So, in order to deal with YK 11 suppression, you need to make sure you go for at least either one of the popular SERMs or even both – Clomiphene Citrate and Tamoxifen Citrate.
Most people suggest that using both SERMs will do the best job as they will have some kind of “synergy” effect when you use them both. That’s especially helpful when you’re feeling a heavy suppression.
In those rare cases when you do not feel very suppressed, you may go for only one of them, such as Nolvadex only. But usually, that’s after a short cycle of a very low YK-11 dosage and only among specific people.

Conclusion
YK 11 side effects can be fairly harsh and that’s especially true when talking about its suppression. That’s why I strongly recommend you be careful with the suppression that you can and will experience from this compound. There’s no joke about it. Please, take this advice in this article seriously when it comes to implementing a proper PCT plan and not abusing YK-11.
Additionally, the best way to determine the level of suppression is to do a blood work test before and after your cycle. That’s except for listening to your body and the symptoms that you experience.
In the end, there’s no need to be afraid of YK11. All SARMs are suppressive and there are millions of bodybuilders using SARMs and even anabolic steroids (that are even more suppressive than SARMs, including YK 11) with very high success. There is the PCT available and if you follow my advice, you are going to find that you could easily deal with the suppression.
