MK 677 As A PCT Example
Here’s an example of an MK677 PCT protocol here
Start your SARMs cycle which usually lasts 8 weeks. Can be a solo SARM or a SARM stack cycle. But you also start Ibutamoren 20 mg a day. After 8 weeks of the SARM cycle, you stop all the SARMs (suppressive compounds) but continue using Ibutamoren for 4-8 weeks more (or even longer).
This means that you start administering MK677 as soon as you start your SARM cycle as it wouldn’t interfere with your testosterone or estrogen, but it can be helpful during the cycle too. It can help grow muscles and burn fat* because you get higher HGH levels. However, because it doesn’t interfere with the production of estrogen and/or testosterone and helps recover and maintain muscles – you continue with its use for weeks.
*While it’s true that HGH can help you burn fat, MK677 is a popular compound for increasing hunger. That’s why I generally do not really recommend MK677 for cutting cycles. But those people who can handle/control hunger can go for it with very high success!
Most people start the SARM cycle and Ibutamoren. They stop the cycle at 8 weeks but continue MK677 for 8 more weeks (16 weeks in total). However, cycle off MK677 after this period in order to avoid the appearance of some possible side effects.
I mentioned that Ibutamoren (MK-677) has a high safety profile, but it doesn’t mean that it is all safe. Side effects can still occur especially with high dosages and/or too long cycles.
Ibutamoren – MK 677 Side Effects
MK 677 does have quite a few side effects. Most people do not report experiencing any side effects at all or tolerating them very well. You can control and mitigate most of the side effects with ease as long as you stick to proper dosages and cycle lengths.
Some people are experiencing the following side effects that seem to be more common than others:
- Water retention (retention of fluids can lead to hypertension)
- Headaches (can be related to the fact that you’re having high blood pressure)
- Sleepiness (some people report fatigue and feeling sleepy during the day)
However, water retention has a very strong relation with your diet and hydration. As strange as it may sound but not drinking enough water can cause water retention. Additionally, reducing the amounts of sodium can greatly help. People with high sodium intake by drinking soda and eating fast food get water retention.
Basically, getting a good and healthy diet is likely to deal with all these problems. As well, of course, as sticking to proper dosages.
